Got me a k6-2 550 cheap!

I have a friend that just built a SS7 system with this k6-2 550 chip, and he was not happy with it's performance.......he sold me the cpu for $50.00 :-) (now he has PIII 600).

This 550 has LOWER benchmarks than my old 450 @ 550.......but at 600, with just 2.4v, it's a little faster than my 450 was at 600, and FAR less volts, so I'm happy for now :-).

I will try 5.5x112 @ 616 in a few days....I think it will go no probs.

good luck on that i think they max out at 600 i got a 500 to 600 but not past that and not really stable at all the fastest stable use 582 97 fsb and 6 times multiplier on a lucky tech 5mvp3 mobo 128 megs pc100 ram and ge force i video that is my second sys my new one is Atlon 700 @ 931 133 bus and 7 times 256 megs pc133 ram and ATI Rage Fury Maxx 64 meg video were smokin now 3d mark 2000 score was 5143 ya ho sorry for the 3 posts bu iit told me when i submited it told me that drn wasen't a user 2 times on the 3 try it was fine
