At boot I receive an error message:

Please be specific! happyhamster 02-11-2000, 10:11 AM I got this message before. You get it in the very beginning of boot process, right? It's a hardware conflict and has nothing to do with software. In my case I disabled com1 and 2 in BIOS. After you get this message, go to BIOS setup screen(you have to press Del or F1 or Ctrl+Alt+Esc or something else depending on the motherboard), look for com1 and com2 addresses and set them to disable. Choose Save Settings. Reboot. If that doesn't work, let us know. SysOpt.com
