I had an old US Robotics (I think it was a 28.8) modem with dip switches. There was a way to adjust them to OC it, but it wasn't really worth it. I connected a little higher, but I didn't notice much of a speed increase. I don't even think this is possible anymore though... Tarzan 04-25-1999, 03:48 AM yeah, back when there was room enuff to go faster you could. but with FCC reg's, you really can't even get to 56k. most i've gotten is 53333. also, the quality of your phone lines can play a factor also. so even tho if you "could" o/c. your phone lines may still slow you down.
