The newest BETA bios _RY for the KA7 has cache divider control.

For those with a K7v here's a link for a BIOS flash that will change the cache divider. http://www.mmoeller.dk/bluewater/
Click on downloads and download 1007.01a w/ cache fix and flash accordingly.
It comes with 1/3, 1/2, 2/5 and no mod versions.
So far it's working great. Before, my 700 would boot to 850 in Windows then cause problems. 900 was a no go.
Now It'll boot and benchmark at 950 (With 2/5 flash). I'm currently at 900 to make sure all is well, and if so, maybe i'll try working up to 950 to stay.
As far as I can tell this is on a 700mhz core also, so not too bad. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
