Well gang, it's here! I got the PIII-850/100 and its solid at 8.5x122=1037, Vcore=1.8V. I'm still running the stock fan/hs.

It will be a few days before I can upgrade the cooling and try for the next plateau.

Are you running it on the MSI board from last year..? or is that still on the 650?

Yes, the MSI 6163Pro. I'm down to one mobo these days, my old Abits have found better homes. Once I get the most out of the 850 through cooling, the next quest will be a mobo that does all this and supports ATA66 (or 100).

Lemme get this right: you have a PIII 850 @ 1037 with stock heat sink and fan?????

Woohooo, that means you may get it to 1130 (8.5x133) and have all your periferals in spec with an orb or alpha cooler.
