is there a difference between 2 64 meb modules versus 1 128 module wich would be faster or more reliable or would it be the same. reason im asking i can get two 64 cheaper than 1 124 any info woud be great thanks

I assume you're refering to RAM modules. I'd advise a single 128 over dual 64. This is especially crutial if you plan to overclock at all.

The only time multiple modules are as troublefree as a singe module is if the multiple modules are identical. And that doesn't mean they're just the same brand. It means that they came off the assembly line one right after the other and the chips they used are from the same batch.

Ditto, on one of my junks I had a 128 and a 64 meg chip.. seemed to generate more memory related errors.. Took out the 64 and the errors have seemingly diminished.. Take me to your leader.
