Allright, its time. After talking with a respected member of sysopt who shall remain anonymous (unless mattheadfat, who is the only one ive told blabs on the guy), and finding out he thought YGM means you gay monkey, its time to post internet acronyms.

Here are a few basics from me

1) YGM-you've got mail
2) ROFL-rolling on floor lauging
3) DDDD-dont do dat duphis!
4) j/k-just kidding

Hello,

Yes, I found those short words (slang or whatever) extremely difficult to understand and sometimes I do not dare to answer some topics because I am afraid of misunderstanding. OK I have excuse - English is my second language and things will go better because I am now forced to use it daily.

brb - Be Right Back
bbl - Be Back Later

And others seen everywhere,
LMAO - Laughing My *** Off
ROTFLMAO - Rolling on the Floor LMAO (sometimes with LOL)
AFAIK - As Far As I Know
OTOH - On The Other Hand
WTF - What The *oops*, guess I better stop here.

I guess it all depends on your self esteem and how your view yourslef. For example, I just figured YGM meant You're Great Man. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Apostle 83 - thanks. I think that we all should be one big happy family. With a family comes trust. It'll make it easier for everybody to do some fun lovin' internet trades without ever worrying 'bout ever getting jipped or ripped off.

"I love you, you love me, we are best friends and family, in a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, won't you be my (buddy)too."

Don't even ask. No, I don't watch it everyday. Somehow the song's just stuck in my head.

Anybody get any goosebumps? hehehe...

Your warm and wonderful purple duck,
Plucky
