I didnt know what forum to put it in since it covers videocards,OCing, and motherboards and even other compononts,so I am sorry if you think it is an ill placed question.

I have discovered that my g400 max does 100mhz AGP with everything enabled
except AGP x 2(have to use x1) and it does it without a hitch period.

So I was doing a little tweaking and I decided to increase the I/O voltage to 3.5 up from the default 3.3.......and guess what,I could do AGP x 2 rock solid in everything, including q3(3.4 I/O had freezes, but 3.5 was solid)in fact everything seems peachy at that AGP speed when the I/O is increased to 3.5.

So my worry is..........will the increased I/O voltage do any real long term harm to my system,I was thinking it would not, because it is a very small voltage increase, especially when processors are commonly increased by .1 -.3 volts without any real adverse side affects.
And what else besides my ram and vidcard get a voltage increse?Does my modem and HDD and soundcard get the same voltage increase, along with everything else on the MB????

Any help is appreciated greatly.

you should be fine the asus mother boards even sugjest you up the I/O volts if your going to overclock and the P5A-b And P5A boards used to come from Asus already set to 3.5 for the I/O volts http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
