The thread on Siemans-Infineon memory http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum3/HTML/006812.html is informative so talking Crucial, EMS, Mushkin or any brand you like should be of interest. If you feel brand names are worth it all. Or how about HSDRAM? I'm about to buy a BX system with PCI graphics (please see http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum3/HTML/006716.html for details) & it appears that brand name memory will help it hit 133 MHz. Yet if generic memory will do... Thanks!

I am running aan Abit be6/2 w/pIII600E. Using Micron pc100 memory(256mg) the best that I could achieve was a shaky 133 fsb( all applications were fine, but anything using heavy 3d would lock up) I sold the Micron, and installled the Mosel Vital hand- picked pc133 from Mushkin( yep, expensive), and I am now running at a rock solid 145 fsb, at 870 mhz. That includes passing Prime 95 torture test, 3dmark2K, both for 24 hrs. with no lock-up. You get what you pay for!
