As Sysopt members, we should take it upon ourselves to just stay out of such flame war frays. The people starting such posts have no purpose other than arguing. It's a poinless waste of your time, and that of the administration tying to monitor it.

Just email the administrators about threads that should be closed and/or eliminated. It will make their job easier in keeping Sysopt the great place it is.

I came to Sysopt to get away from this garbage, and I hate seeing it being dragged down to that level.

Agreed. I just took the bait, maybe if we all ignored it then they would lose interest in stirring.

I really REALLY wish Sysopt could get back to how it was. I miss it http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif.

The above are good responses to flame bait and obviously inappropriate posts. The more email with links to the threads I receive on troublemakers, the more efficient I can be to help keep our site better maintained.

This is our community and I want to help preserve and maintain it to the high standards for which SysOpt is known. It's also a large and growing community so any email sent to me can only further help to keep our community the great one that it is.

Thanks for your support. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
