i have a asus p2b-s mobo and p3 550 cpu i have it oced to 620 right now with a 112 fsb and am using the program softfsb. when i try to go any higher than that like to 124 or 133mhz fsb the system does not lock up but reports the cpu as being slower than what it should be like at 133 it shows it is only running at 515mhz do you think this may be a voltage prob or what i am stumped and have tried everything i can think of to get it higher but will not plz help if you have a suggestion to try.

Is it reported in the BIOS as being only 515? And do benchmarks show it to be slower at the higher fsb speed?

verything that i do weather it be a benchmark or just a game are slower. so i know that it is not using the fsb that it should be.

also i made one mistake on top when i oced to 133 it shows up as 610mhz and not what i said and i even tried going higher it will let it go all the way to 150mhz and not lock the puter but the speeds are just all way off.

is there anyway that you can remove the clock multiplier for the p3 anyway at all.

Is it a coppermine? If it is not,620 is about all that it will do.
