well I dont' have the pic. But If you want the cooler it take away one of your pci slot. It look like a turbine that suck the air out. If you know what I'm talking about, I was wondering if its any good??

Are you sure it sucks the air out? it could be a card cooler, they fit in pci slot, blows air onto video card.

I know what you mean it sits below the card and blows the air out through the back of the case...I have one and it does help to redice the case temp a bit.

Is this it??? They are a nice simple and quiet way to exaust 42cfm of hot air out of your case, I positioned mine as close as possible to my vid card, Coolerguys has em for about 13$ or so... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif ( www.coolerguys.com (http://www.coolerguys.com) ) http://psstspages.homestead.com/files/slotcooler.jpg

the new ones look like the one posted above..it uses a 'squirrel cage' method fins to exhaust air out...
The old model, which I have 2 of, has a 7 finned 80mm fan inside, to exhaust air out..
All the slot ones ive seen are made to blow air OUT, since they are situated at the back of the case.
I took em both out..I dont really think they are helpful as they exhaust air before it reaches the CPU.

That is the very chap. I use it below my Geforce to take the heat from it out of the case and it does work http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

Watch those. I've had 2 in different machines and they both seized up. I'm fairly certain that they were behind my power supply problems. That cooler posted is made by abouta bajillion different names companies, and my two both died...Looks like the motor burned out in each. Watch them close.

You better take that pic down before socalgal comes along - it isn't ok to display images from other people's websites because it steals there bandwith. Bad luck! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I have one too, it looks just like that. It blows air "out" the back of the case. Mine was designed for video cards really, but you don't have to use it for that, it's also great if you got a slot 1 cpu, put right underneath that.

Mine is from the company "Justcooler". They also have a set that one goes in a cd-rom bay and one under video card, they are worth getting, but the video card one is like 10 dollars, and the cd-rom one is like 25-30..

It is most definitly not pushing 42cfm though.......more like 12 according to www.2cooltek.com (http://www.2cooltek.com) not a horrible thing to get...but money could be better spent on a fan for a blow hole...........

Mine kicks ***!!!!!! Mine is old too and I haven't had the slighest problems with it, it's second hand!!!!

It definetly blows out more than 12 cfm. It's really worth the money, espically if you overclock anything. It blows out the air of the front lower fan, and the set (with the cd bay one) works really well together, gets a lot of air flowing through the case.

BTW, if you get the cd bay one, beware, because they are "KINDA" noisy, some people get rid of them, but I like the sound of many fans, I got 7!!!!

Note* the pci slot one (or any slot one) is not loud at all, pretty quiet to be exact, and the one from "JUSTCOLLER" has a bigger fan in it than in the one above.

It definitly does not do 42cfm at 26dba,if it would every fan manufacturer and thier brother would just be dying to make fans that quit with that much performance
here is what 2cool has to say about it,and since he is selling it at his store I seriously do not think he would have anything to gain abouthte real world CFM of the thing http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/5/33.htm?3 he is an honest guy and he knows his fans very well........I do not doubt his word................I have also heard a few other sellers say the same thing about it.................just dont want you to think you are really getting 42cfm that is all.....if it were true I would have at least two of them in my case.
