waterfall illegal operation..help!

I don't know what's up.

All of a sudden waterfall doesn't work.

i tried to uninstall it but a message says that the "exec. file is corrupt, possibly a virus".

I removed it manualy and any reference to it in the registry ( i think) and found an older version to reinstall but still not good.

here's the message. what can i do?

I don't know if this helps but, after I mess with my registry, I use the scanreg.exe program in the Windows dir to fix some of my failed uninstalls and installs.

Reboot to DOS and try this:

C:WINDOWS>scanreg /fix

might be worth a shot?
