Name my children

I have a large collection of home photos and vid cap pics on my system. when i saved them i let windows call them whatever it wanted.

The problem is, i want to consolidate all of them into one folder, but many of them have the same file name.

Is there any program or something to go through them and give them sequential file names, i.e. 1,2,3 ect.?

Right click on the icon and choose rename. Just make sure you leave the same extension such as jpg,gif,etc..
