a whole lot more room for fans http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif water cooling http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif or anything else you might want to add to your system http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Most have a 300wt power/supplys, slide out m/b trays and easily accessable side panels, usually more "stock" fan location points, lots of extra places for drives, peltier p/s's, water cooling tanks, hoses, pumps, radiators etc...
PLUS, (in my case, no pun intended) my fat hands just fit in there better, and that allows me to "fool around" alittle easier...

Take a look at this picture of my case. With 4 HD's and 5 CD's the motherboard is clear to get as much air as possible. The HD's have their own cooling fans behind them (cant see them) and you can add as many fans as you want in the space left.

Hey Otheos,

That case of yours, it wouldn't happen to be the A-open Q80 or Q800, would it??!!!

Cause you got exactly the same case I got for my new system!!!

I don't have scsi like you, but what I really like about the case is the extra room for hd's above the PS, and the room for 2 fans directly behind it!!!

Good case, works for me!!!

Yes that's the one. The fans behind the HD's are 2x160cfm 220V to cool down my IBM drives (36LZX), so they do not draw any power from the PSU. The 12cm in lower front is a 100cfm ultra quiet and does indeed work great. My system sucks air from behind and exhausts it from that 12cm in lower front The reason is that there is an aircon behind it blowing cool air. Even the PSU fan is reversed to suck air in from behind. It's a great case, and the PS (300W) is a good one too considering all the hardware it feeds.

It makes it a hell-of-a-lot easier to jam in a water cooler, you really need the space for those if you want to have a good setup?

Espically if you cool more than the chip, like the ram or even video in some cases..

If you got the choice, get a full, get this one, only 26 bucks: http://www.calpc.com/html/atxfull.html

And in pc stealsand deals forum, people that got it gave it the thumbs up, look for yourself!!!!!!!
