I took my CPU and memory out last night to take some measurements, and the funniest thing started happening. When I exit the bios without saving changes, it won't boot. I get a blank screen. Any ideas?

Did you try taking them back out, and plugging them right back in? I have a RAM stick that needs to be pushed to one side of the slot...if I don't, it is'nt detected.
If I did'nt help, I'm shure someone else here will have an answer for you.

make sure your memory module is inserted firmly, all the way IN so push and push but not too hard. just enought to have them in there evenly.

I took everything out, put it back in like it was, same problem. NOW, how's this tickle your fancy? I have 2 128 DIMMS. For grins, I switched them around, thinking hey, what could it hurt? I switched em, and BAM it works like it should. Kinda concerns me actually....Rambooster still shows 256, along with windows, the BIOS, and Sandra. But, Sandra has always reported one of my DIMM's as PC125. I dunno...Chalk it up to Nixon Luck. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

dunno what you doing with 2 128meg simm a bit too much, I say 64-128 is only needed for a decent computer.
btw: do not use rambooster it make your computer slower, virutal memory is not good
because it has to compress it like double space it slow your computer to a crawl.
