i just got new via board and im getting a cel. 566 but i decided to overclock my p3 450 as good as i could i got it at 630 now and will go to 675 max it out on my board.

just felt like showing some benchs cuase its not too bad for a katmai .25 micron at core voltage

VERY nice Benchmarks for a P3-450!
I am shopping around now for a good upgrade from my current AMD K6-2 450....heh...this AMD450 won't get close to 600Mhz:-) ....I know that Intel CPU's overclock better, and I'm ready for a P3 system now.

What new motherboard did you get?

got an abit VT6X4 it features the via appolo pro chipset its a nice board i got it cuase im upgrading to a celeron 566

before i had a be6 mobo and all i could get to was 558 cuase me video card couldnt take 133 fsb love the 1/2 agp mult. its awesome

You can see clearly that the to 630 o/c'ed 450 scores less then an athlon 600, yes??!!

But would an athlon 500 o/c'ed to 630, score less then a PIII 600???

Break you brain on that one guys, and don't come back till you have evidence!!! LOL

Definetely!!!!

But that will mean that I will have an athlon system, a k6-2 system AND a celeron system!!!

Where I'm gonna fit all that in me little room??? Somewhere I guess!!!

And I'll probably have my msi6153 with celeron 533/566 by the 25thof may!!!

When I'll be getting my free replaced p5a-b, I don't know, but I just can't wait to get it!!!
