well first things first at, the default settings this board rocks. But we all know that O/C'in is the way to go. This is my first Asus board (alway abit before) and am not as comfortable with its bios.

from all the succes ive heard about with the 650E at 133mhz fsb. Heres what i undestand(and want to do) i should be able to do with a via chip.
(i have pc 100, 650E 100mhz fsb)

133Mhz fsb
-33Hhz memory
1/2 agp

I know how to set to manual, and set fsb, but i dont know where the -33mhz and agp 1/2 settings are.

all the reviews i read said this could be done.

I had do buy this mobo becasue my trusty old Be6 did a bad flash(hung after write sucessful message), and is useless until i find a new EPROM chip for it(any one got one.)

Please help, 650 is to slow when i know my chip will do close to 800.

I left jumpers at default and set 600e in bios to run at 800, board adjusts agp, pci automatically, and if you got pc133 why look for -33?

I am wondering about this too.

Nearest I can figure is that it SHOULD be the "System/SDRAM Frequency Ratio" option in the "Advanced" section of the BIOS. To get a -33MHz on the SDRAM the ratio would logically be 4/3 when running at 133MHz FSB but the only options listed are 1/1, 3/4, and I believe 3/2 in the version BIOS.

The really strange thing is that if you look in the 1.02 E525 (March 2000) version of the P3V4X printed manual, on page 56, the image at the top of ther page shows the correct 4/3 ratio!

What gives??

What I wonder is if the 3/4 "displayed" option listed in the 1003 (and 1004.001 beta) BIOS is just a "typo" that actually does set the correct 4/3 ratio? Anyone know for sure?

Yeah I just found it. After messing around with it, i noticed at different fsbs the options change, sometimes its 4/3, 1/1, etc.
