Hello:
I was wondering what temperature I should be running at with the Athlon 700 .18 micron. I am currently using an Athlon Freezer pro, but it sits atop a capacitor on my Abit KA7 and is not completly flush with the CPU. I have current readings of 117F+. I also have not been using thermal compound, but I only built the new system the other day, and plan on using it very soon with the arrival of a new Globalwin VOS32 I just ordered.
So any input would be great on temps, types of thermal compound, heatsinks, etc. I am new to the Athlon CPU ball game. Thanks! - PwAg
