i have an amd k6-2 450Mhz (100 MHz x 4.5 ) yet sandra 99 tells me that my RAM is 66MHz bus speed, but i have PC100 RAM. heh, sandra also says i have a 48MHz USB Bus. anyhow, i was wondering if ne1 knows a way that i can get my RAM to 100 MHz? the dumb BIOS wont let me, and i dont see any jumpers in the motherboard. AGP video is disabled. it seems to lower my performance greatly as my CPUmark 99 score is 24.6 and lousy apps like starcraft are even lagging. if anyone knows a solution, please tell me, im desperate. thanks alot!!!

k, here are some more detailed system specs:

its an emachine, etower 266 with a cyrix 266 upgraded to amd k6-2 450 mhz. the motherboard is made by trigem, not sure what the exact part number it is. i have 64mb of generic RAM and it is pc100 ram (supposedly), i have an onboard ATI Rage IIc 4MB AGP vid card(disabled so i can use a v3 2000 pci), and an onboard Crystal 3D Sound card, and i think its ISA. im using sandra99, is this a reliable program? oh, and im wondering, what iS the USB bus speed supposed to be? thanks a lot again!

edit: by the way, does pc66 and pc100 have a huge noticable difference in speed? oh and the BIOS is AMIBIOS 1.11, 1999. thanks again

I had similar problems with Sandra 99. Geez..I think it told me my PCI bus was in the mid 70's, my AGP wasl ike 140 mhz, and a ton of other stuff. I upgraded to Sandra '00 and it works fine now. Try it, you can download it easily from download.com, in the search box just type Sisoft Sandra.
