How fast will You make the New CPU's coming out Go. If they come out in mid-summer early Fall. How fast will you push it? Would it achieve 1.7GHz or settle for 1.55GHz? And will it be worth to get when they first come out? Just curious.

Don't think they'll go THAT fast. Personally, I'll be happy if I can push a 533A to 124 FSB (1001 Mhz!!!). That's my goal. Anyway, as for when to get them, I prefer to wait for the CPUs to go through some stepping first.

I've been wondering and i want the FIRST person to get an Itanium processor and/or a Sledgehammer processor to overclock the thing to the MAX and display every little detail. How does this sound?

In the May months issue of Computer Gaming World Page 47 "The Race to 1GHz" Talks about how Intel had a PIII running at 1.5GHz and AMD had an Athon 1.1Ghz. AMD Said they might ship by Q3. Just wanting to know if People will be spending somewhere around a 1000 bux and take the chance of frying it.
