What's the highest multiplier and FSB for Asus P5A-B motherboard

i'm planning to get one so i can OC my 500MHz, even though i won't get much out of it, at least i'll save a couple of bucks, so uhm.. what's the highest multipler and frontside bus for it?

highest muliti is 5.5 x times or 6.0 x using the 2x for the amd chips

highest FSB is 133 if you need the jumper settings ask and I'll post them .

I've got my P5A running at 120 MHz FSB right now stable as all get out with -7ns PC-100 memory

what's the highest u think i can go if i have an Alpha PAL6035MUC and an AMD K6-2 500MHz CPU??

if you work up to it and you have really good memory on the board as in -7 or -8 ns PC-100 or 133
then you should beable to get 575mhz preaty easy with a 5.0 x 115 @ 2.6 or 2.7 volts
you might even get 600 but thats a tuff one some of the newest chips are seeing it but ?

I've got my 400 running 540 4.5 x 120 @ 2.5 volts and had it up to 575 but it wanted 2.8 volts to run stable and I can not aford another new chip right now lol http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

what kind of cooling do i need to reach 600+ MHz with my K6-2 500MHz if i have an P5A-B, other than an Alpha PAL6035MUC? DENG!!! 133x6 is 798, is there an S7 that can even reach that speed???

you need to keep the chip temp under 100/f or close to that, so it all depends on how cold your computer room stays lol http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif and no you will be lucky if you see 600MHz out of any of the K6-2 chips right now 575 is really the max but some people have gotten there's to 600
