Hi guys...
well, my 300a @ 504 is starting to feel dated. So...ive been doing a little searching and decided to go the celeron rt versus the P3 for cost and bang for the buck. My system runs great at a 112 bus so...which would provide the better or most promising overclock, a 533 or 566 celeron, and why? Thanks guys =)

i would go with the 566 as the reviews i have read on OCing it seem pretty awesome...plus isn't it the pentium 3 core?

So....the 533 isn't the same core as the P3? Then i guess it's obvious i want the 566 =)
hehe

Actually they do make a pIII core 533 fcpga....and I think that it would be a better choice then the 566...it is cheaper....and you can potentially run a higher FSB for more performance.

Oblivion,
you are absolutely correct. They do make 533 fcpga Celes with PIII core. The name is 533A, same as Cele 300A remember, the one that came out with L2 cache. Now Cele 533A has L2 cache on dye. I don't think you'd be able to get one thou. The only one I saw was not a retail module.

Ilya_S_K.......mine will be here in a couple of days..............I got it HERE (http://www.allstarshop.com/shop/product.asp?dept%5Fid=66&pid=1701&sid=WT7WMGCD13SR2HSA080205RWQCJ1BK58),but I ordered it last monday..............for 115$....they have jacked the price up 25$ since.........it is still a good deal though IMO.......
So they can be had quite easily........for now at least.......but I suspect that they will be as rare as hens teeth by next week.
