First, split the pipe to form a flat sheet. Lap this sheet of copper until smooth. Take a second piece of copper pipe, and split it to make another sheet. carefully bend the 4 edges of the second piece, forming a box with NO bottom, making the edges about three-sixteenths of an inch tall. Drill two holes in the top of the box with a three-eighths drill bit. Next, be shure to use a WATER-PROOF epoxy resin glue to seal the seams in the four corners where the edges meet, then epoxy glue the LAPPED copper sheet to the bottom of the box. Lastly, after the epoxy is dry, test the water block for leaks BEFORE mounting it on the CPU......look VERY closely for leaks, and let it run for a few minutes before mounting, to insure it will not soak your CPU. I use clear rubber tubing, that has a three-eighths inch inside diameter. The pump only costs 40$, and the rubber tubing was 10$. This setup dropped my k6-2 450 2.4v temps to around 5c below room temp, at any overclocking settings I try, even at 3.2v the temp stays under 25c. I hit higher overclocking results than any heat sink & fan. I Hope I helped some! Good luck :-) Pulsar 04-22-2000, 07:24 AM i am using a pvc endcap and a heatsink i modified to fit inside the end cap. i siliconed the 2 together and it has been working great for about a month. i have not had a leak. before that i just siliconed the endcap to the cpu and it worked good. again no leaks. i changed it because i wanted to be able to use tec's. if you silicone it with good water proof silicone and let it dry at least for the time recomended and then test it you should be ok and it was a very good and cheap way to make one.
