i just flashed my bios to the latest versiopn, and **** the temperature went up 5C. hows this supposed to be? before the flash, it was 31C. now its 36. whats wrong here? or is it that it came with a more accurate way of measuring the temp?

Which temp? CPU? System? other? Well, either way, the temperature sensers can be adjusted, so maybe they got reset or adjusted when you flashed it. I recommend you set them straight.
and how do i set them straight

Get a thermometer of some sort, and stick it in your case. My motherboard came with a program that monitors the temps, and lets you adjust them (at first I thought I was cooling my comp!). Make up for the difference, and adjust the CPU temp by that amount (putting the thermometer on the heatsink or CPU will be VERY inaccurate).
