I read somewhere that slockets can cause a problem in overclocking, especially when trying to use an unorthodox FSB like 75 or 83.
Is that true, and if so are there particular slockets or slockets/motherboard combinations where this occurs?
I use a QDI BX m/b with soft FSB support, and was planning to upgrade to a celeron 500, but only if I could overclock it.
Can enyone enlighten me in this matter? Is there a particular slocket I should look for, or avoid?
Or is it simply impossible?
