I am looking to throw a good, but cheap comp together... seeing as I sold off my old one...(sniff)

Here are the boards I am looking at http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/006247.html

What Celeron would be a good choice??
I think the mult on the 566 and up are no supported yet ( not to mention they are pricey). I was thinking of getting a 366 and pushing it to 550.

Are there any other celerons I should look for? I was looking towards a ppga that could be oc'ed with passive cooling to 100(+ maybe) FSB.

Banti,

I currently have a 366@550 and I love it! But I would caution against purchasing it now. Instead I would suggest getting a good VIA APOLLO 133A based board (like the MSI 6309 or the new ABIT slot-1 board) and getting a Celeron 533A. It has an 8X multiplier, more likely to make it 800 MHz and will afford you future growth into the PIII arena when you have the cash to upgrade. These boards are going for about $100 and a 533A reported to be sold at $110, I think a good price/performance benefit.

Banti,

Anand seems to like it. Here is the link to their review.
