I bought a p3 650 20 gig ibm deskstar 256ram tnt2 ultra oclocked to 750 easy but when i push it a little bit more it want run good .Would u recommend a after market cooling system or do u think thats all i will get out of this chip.Like i said it runs real good no problems at 750 temp barly goes up with rain running. It only has reatail heatsink and fan will a better fan work r do i need to change the heatsink to please tell me some details of what u think.
I didnt think that 100mhz would matter that much but when i do the bench marks they go up allot thanks

get a better heatsink and fan, the retail one does not cool as well as a good after market one will...the alpha and globalwin heatsinks are quite good and will help ya push it just a little more

Rain might be good (I've never used it, so I dont know) but what about the cpu when its busy. I would go for another hsf, and have additional fans drawing air into and out of the case.

Lsim,

Try going directly to 133 MHz Front Side Bus. I think you are having problems with have strange PCI and AGP speeds. Make sure your AGP divider is at one half and your PCI bus is set to 1/4. Let us know if you hit 865 Mhz.
