Here is a list of the parts im going to start asking advice for.

Pentium 3 600EB Flip Chip technology
Asus P3V4X Motherboard
1pcs 128MB PC-100 Infineon SDRAM

I am really interested in overclocking my new system. I have overclocked many Celerons in my time but when it comes to P3's i get a little "worried" for some reason. Must be because they are like $350+ up here in Canada... and I am not a big fan of screw ups. I was wondering how high i could take the 600EB too? I have a King Tower (9 bays) and inside i have a Sunon case fan at the front (its HUGE) supplying the cool air, Just Cooler Twin turbo cooler at the top of the case and a system exhaust blower that sucks up the hot air and releases it out (its right under my Asus V6800 DDR). I know better cooling would be better. Is what i have now good enough for a P3? I was never afraid to screw up on a celeron cause if you ever did fry it, it was only like $70 to replace. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Let me know and thanks in advance. This forum rocks.

Could be a tough road to go on. You would have far better luck with 600E. The multiplyer is locked on these so, o/c is done by increasing fsb speeds. With EB buss @ 133mhz, you will have to go to 140~150 to gain higher speeds. The choice right now, if still available is the 600E where buss speed is 100mhz and can o/c to 800~900. My 600E does 840 without too much modification, Difference would be
600E = 6*100 frequently o/c to 6*133 = 800
600EB= 4.5*133 o/c 4.5*140 or 4.5*150 =630/675
and you pc100 ram I dont know about getting to those buss speeds!

I'm not sure about the 600eb, but my 600e will do 902 stable. 150mhz FSB. Good Luck
