Sad, i must say, them insulting another computer forum and such, and 1 or 2 posts doesnt make up the whole board...., Oh well, I think THEY sound like the jerks and idiots here, thats just my oppinion though

I read the comments, and I got a bit ticked, since this is like a second home to me...but we dont need to make opionons on other board's people as they have. Theres no need, thats not why we're here.
The best way we can prove em wrong is to be the smart & mature people they say were not, and to not be the boneheads they say we are...
Weve done a **** good job being smart n mature so far, and we know it, so dont let some people's comments degrade us.

Again, restrain from personal attacks on anyone there...Most likely they just havent exposed to this board enough to make a fair evaluation. Im sure many of us have formed premature 'book by its cover' feelings about certain things too...Heck these people could all be superb hardware professionals that we could all learn something from. Don't be all down on them for the comments they made.

we should all just ignore them... they can say whatever they wish to get their daily chuckles, but what they are doing is completely wrong... they need to grow up and stop acting so immature...

note to people who have just read this thread: do not go to or read what they have said about sysopt for it would be pointless...

just remember: their rantings and ravings cannot hurt us and if we retaliate in any way, then we are worse then them... we need not bicker and belittle them, for we have a very nice atmosphere around here and i know that most of us would like to keep it that way...

Socalgal, if someone tries to retaliate within our site here, then i want (although you may not be able to do this) you to delete (not just close) their post so that it does not build up an atmosphere of hatred or immaturity.... i realize you may not be able to (or want to) delete those threads, but it may better our existance here and keep this place the helpful and loving environment that it is...

again i must insist: do not retaliate against pcmech or any of its users... the end result will be disastrous if we do, but if we do not, then the end result will be a safe place that many a person comes to get helpful advice...

Everybody is free to express themselves, their thoughts and feelings, without having to use hate, anger, insults, or profanity.

I don't know about other moderators in other forums, but I know that the moderators that we have here talk with their brain-not with their mouth, give us the basic respect that we deserve, and do show class when they do speak.

I registered to post over there, and when i went to my hotmail account to get my password, I saw that I had won a free copy of windows 2000 professional! For some reason I see no reason to be upset and respond to gintaras's thread anymore =)

By the way,
He did the EXACT SAME THING at Host about 3 weeks ago, I would give the link but The admin promptly deleted the thread after maybe 5 posts. I dont like having poeple like that around here.

Yeah, I hate to admit it, but you're right Toadman. I thought, after keeping an eye on this for an hour or so, that we would react perfectly approprately. I guess no one is perfect.

Believe me, I too was tempted (VERY http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif) to post there. Especially after that admin made is response to Scott about wasting all "boneheads or other bacteria." After all, who decides who is a bonehead or a bacteria? As long as no one starts to be overbearing on the group, then what's wrong with some good, clean fun? But they are who they are and we are who we are.
