If you turned off your L1 and L2 cache (why you would want to do that I don't know), you have to turn it back on. That is unless you flash your BIOS as you mentioned you are trying to do. The BIOS will default to L1 and L2 cache enabled. ALWAYS FLASH YOUR BIOS USING A FLOPPY DISK!!!! Yes you can try to do it by preempting the Windows load, but it is a bad idea. Just make a bootable floppy disk, load the BIOS file and the flash program onto the disk and then follow ABIT's intructions. Hope that helps. -RADAR jaida 04-01-2000, 09:55 PM thanx radar ill give it a try jaida 04-01-2000, 10:16 PM how do i restart the computer in dos just wondering but i have another problem the bios file will not work is there a proble with the above file i listed above there has to be does anyone know what is wrong with it jaida 04-01-2000, 10:36 PM nvr mind got it to work thanx for the help gene1938 04-02-2000, 10:49 AM FYI- insert a floppy type"format A:\s" that should get you a boot disk. Next you need AWDFLASH & ABITFAE and finally your bios file make sure to unzip any files on thhe disk. check your bios and disable cache (until your flash is done)- make sure that system is set to boot from"A". Insert your floppy shut system down, restart type "abitfae",this with tell you if your bios file is correct(you can also type a command line after the abitfae-like the one you posted)the abit web site has good diractions as how to flash gene SysOpt.com
