Im perplexed once again, I have PC133 memory (generic)
Abit BF6
P3550e@770
The CPU and FPU are scoring around 185 and 175 respecfully, I was at 320 when I had my PC100 and my P3500@620 so why so low now. It is cas 3 memory and set respectfully in the bios.
The CPU benchmark is reporting CPU 2095 and FPU @ 1048 so thats ot bad.
Anyone have an answer>>
Thanks

I personally have never trusted Sandra's memory testing as I see it swing way to much in both directions.

I have a similar setup, and I once had similar scores in sandra......but then I tweaked a few bios settings, and now I am getting over 300 in both.

I will reboot here in a few,and I will go into the bios and check it out.........I think there was something in the softmenu....
I do know that if you have the bf-6,you should most definitly flash the bios to the latest update.....it is much more stable, and it adds a few more nice features to it.

I have everything on cas2,and in the softmenu I have "spread spectrum modulated" disabled.

here is an advice for you if you are not happy with sandra benchmark results. Upgrade the Sandra from 99 to 2000. You’ll get a 5-30% increase in performance for your hardware.

Other words don't trust it. Sandra had the most discrepancies in the results then any other benchmark utility. Yes, it looks great, the front end is very user friendly, graphics and graphs give you a clear picture how your hardware performs, but most result as I mentioned above are incorrect. That's why Sandra's results never included in any hardware reviews or articles.
Anyone else in here can back me up on what I said above?
I noticed that my hd bench specs went down when I went from p2 400 to p3 600.
I seen somewhere a cpu benchmark program that is supposedly good, will try to find link and post.
