This is confusing me. skywalker[TSG] 03-28-2000, 07:24 PM first off speed, then the size either i make it as small and portable as possible or u make it as BIG as possible its really impressive if u have to have a forklift to move the comp drojman 03-28-2000, 10:58 PM What the heck are you talking about? skywalker[TSG] 03-28-2000, 11:35 PM well either u want the comp small and light so that its not too heave to carry around or u want a comp that will make everyone jealous drojman 03-29-2000, 12:13 AM Ah, Ok. I guess I prefer mine to make everyone jealous. Let them bring their lightweights over here. LOL http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif smurfin 03-29-2000, 08:11 AM Wanna make everyone jealous?..This is what to bring....My friends call me a freak. I have a portable rackmount on casters about 4.5 in height. Everyone just plugs into my apc, we put the portable tables in a circle around the server and start fraggin each other like crazy. Got a proliant in there as the game server, an 8 port 10/100 switch and a 2200xl apc. Separate is my own game machine...modest in comparison..amd 450@523(replacing it because I can't get 550!) with(now 196mb)a 16 mb voodoo banshee a 3com 905 10/100, sblive, etc. I am replacing it with a trinity 400 and a 600e chip with a vd33000 this week. My game machine is tame, but everyone gets a kick out of my mobile server setup(I'm a sysadmin, I could really care less about standalone but I love lan gaming!)Mix that in with a love for modest oc passion(for now) and I love this life!
