I attempted to keep using X-tree for as long as possible. But probably about a year or so ago I finally came to terms with the fact that X-tree just can't keep up with these huge hard drives. It started out with not being able to log all my drives at the same time. Then not being able to log my entire C:\ drive. Then not ANY entire drive. And when the day came that I couldn't even load a single, albeit huge, directory, that's when I heard "Taps" playing for X-tree and it's 640k DOS memory limits.

Well X-tree, rest in peace old friend. And long live Z-tree!!!

Z-tree is X-tree with full 32-bit support, long file name support, and NO 640k memory limit. I love it. This is a mighty fine day in the annals of file management my friends. 8^)

Oh yeah. If you want some of the Z action,

I have used the program since the late 80's when it first came out. and have all the versions.I still use it to delete things out of windows. when you can't do it the normal way. with windows useing them. I also remember the days when all you needed was dos 3.0 and xtree and a almost 3000.00 system you had a fine crashless system. and you were king if you had 1 meg. of ram memory and almost God if you had 2 meg. seems like it was only the other day.LOL
