I pushed my K62-450 to 575 on 3.0 volts w/ no results. I pushed it back down in interveals of 25mhz & .1 volts all the way down to stock due to flaky performance after that. On 3d games she locks up. Never did that before my 575 attempt. Did I slightly burn the edges of the chip... ...so to speak. Any ideas?

Thanks.

It sounds to me like you may have done some damage to your chip,ie(running 3 volts is pretty high)but more info is needed to detemine what the problem may be.
What type of system do you have,temps,etc.etc.

Try resetting your cmos and start over. Cooling may be an issue. Also defrag & clean out lost clusters etc... And do some bench marking to compare results.

Sounds like you might have damaged the on-die 64kb cache. Have you got any previous benchmarks to try it with...it seems that three volts is to much for these suckers http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

My CD-rom drive is now acting flaky to. A creative 48x is now benchmarking on sandra as a 8x... ....clueless...
