System Tempurature

What's the diff in the tempuratures (System1, System 2, CPU) on Winbond Hardware doctor on a Abit BE6 V.2? What would be the norm or what temps should I not exceed on PIII 550 Katmai o/c to 650mhz with 128MB PC100 ram. BTW systems running fine at this speed with only 2 case fans installed. Planning to bring it up to 700mhz once I get a better heatsink and fan.

If you want to get a lower cpu temp, try drawing air from outside your case. I used a 92mm dia fan mounted on the front of my case with a duct made from cardboard tube (75mm dia). fit the duct from the fan to the fan on the top of your cpu, (I use a Jamcon fan and heatsink), try and make sure it's a tight fit. Using this on my overclocked PII 350 (393Mhz), I managed to get a system temp of 20deg C and a cpu temp of 7deg C.

Jones, how do you get a CPU temp of 7 deg C.? That's only 44 deg F.
