Well it is OC related so do not cry.....

I just got my Leadtek winfast rev B geforce DDR.......I RMAed my g400 max for it....
These were my g400 max results
q3 1024 x 768,everything cranked to the max except texture detail down one notch,and bilinear filtering on.
35.6 FPS......not really much of a diff when it was OCed though....maybe 3 FPS more

This is me geforce results
same exact settings
58.0 FPS....and OCed to 150 core/340 memory
64.7

BTW the 2d quality on the leadtek is almost as good as with the g400 max.....and strangly enough the 1600 x 1200 desktop res is better then my g400 max was........

Wow. That's interesting to hear. I'm torn between being happy for Leadtek/nVidia at producing a kick-*** card, or a little dissappointed in Matrox for being bested in what used to be their forté (high-res 2D).

It is really a nice card...they went all out with the heatsink on it......I have also had it rock solid at 90Mhz AGP in q3 and 3dmark2000

Impressive and all, but be fore I buy a GeForce DDR I'm going to wait and see what the new Voodoo 5500 can do. The 6000 is to expensive.

I didnt pay extra after the RMA......my biggest problem with the g400 max was(I still think it is an awesome card,do not get me wrong) that in halflife(TFC) I was getting clipping massivly,and I was not having an enjoyable q3 experiance online at 1024 x 768 resolution.......and I got a few anomalnies with the card in other things as well......

Interesting indeed, as my next most probable purchase was to be a G400MAX...
