It seems that my 486DX/2 processor is fixed on the board, is there any way I can get a processor upgrade?, or improve the performance of the one I have right now?
PS. I tried OC'ing to 80MHz, from 66MHz, it didn't boot up stable, All I have is a heatsink/fan & heatsink grease on it right now.

Have you seen what power leap offer? I know they do similar things like an upgrade gizmo that lets you go from a P75 to P250 (ish) when the mobo doesn't support that processor / speed. They aint cheap tho!

Might be worth checking out, but it might be cheaper to get an all-in-one mobo with sound and grafix on board, then get a Cyrix (yuk!) or low-end AMD if you wanted a basic cheap system.

If that board can run 3.3V 486 processors, then your highest bet is AMD's 486DX5-133 (33 MHz 4x multiplier). This one is still being made for embedded and industrial computing markets.
If it can't, then you must try to get hold of one of those Overdrive offerings that used to be available - Intel had a 100 MHz DX4 overdrive running in any 33 MHz 486 socket, and some companies (Evergreen? Kingston?) made similar thingies using the 133 MHz AMD chip.

Sounds like your beating a dead horse hear.Forget the upgrade and find a vendor who sells used computer parts for $50 you can get TX motherboard with a intel pentium mmx cpu.486 are a little past their prime there is not much point in any kind of investment in one.

I would have to concur with getting a new setup. You can get a cheap socket 7 AT form factor MB for $60-$75, a AMD K6-2 400 for $40 and 128 MB PC100 RAM for $80-100, for under $200 you can be up to the late nineties technology.
