problems OC'ing a VA6 Mobo

Any Reason why a ABit-VA6 barfs during the install of Win 98. It dies at the system configuration settings during set-up. I haven't OC'ed it yet so the processor is running at 366 still. If I click Ok enough times I get a VMM.vxd error. Any thoughts or ideas on what I might be screwing up.
