Just curious...'cause I log pretty darn close to 100 hours per month. The bill's been skyrocketing lately that I've decided it was best to switch to SPRINT Canada's unlimited $20 Internet service.
With my old service, I had to pay $25-55 per month on internet charges, and that doesn't include the $5 internet call waiting service.
Whoah! With all the money I've dished out I could've got myself a Geforce DDR!

I pay $55($10 for basic cable included) per month for unlimited access with a cable modem.
How many hours the computer stays on 24/7 so that would be about 720 HRS give or take 100 hrs. In reality I probly spend 200 or so since I am not working now.

hmmmm, between working from home, and just regular net use, I'd say I am on somewhere in the 225-275Hrs area.
Gotta love flat/unlimited access fees.
I just checked how long I was only in January, and it was 192 hours. That is just at home with dial up account, but I do a lot of work from home telneting into machines at work.

I log close to 120 hours/month at home (Cable Modem@ $55/month), but here at work I log another 40+ hours a week on the net.

I called up my server at my old address (cuz I just moved) and they said that my average per month was 167 hours and i had one month where i was on for 243 hours as they said, but i think i was on longer... whatever... either way, it was waaaaaay too long... especially considering the fact that i still go to school as well... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Now that I have DSL I am on it more again
so we will see.... but I dont get the hours reported as I am usually connected 7/24

With a cable modem it's hard to tell because I often leave the machine on when I'm home but I'm not always sitting at it. I'll surf the web for an hour or so, then have some dinner and watch TV, then maybe check the bullitin boards for 15 or 20 minutes, then maybe go outside and work on the car or talk to the neighbor and have a beer, then maybe some death match action.....
How the hell can ya tell how long you spend online (unless you got a dial up account). Anyways, I'm sure I'm well over 100 hours/mo.

I would have to venture a guess at being somewhere around 200 to 250 hours a month average.

10-15, but thats only because i am stuck at a socialy deprived school where all social interactions occure over an ethernet connection. Warm weather is just around the corner and the fish will be jumping soon enough!

I'd have to guess anywhere from 250 to 300 hrs per month on a cable modem.

Well at home I'd have to say about 80 hrs a month or so. Things have been really slow at work, so I would say at work I surf about 80 hrs a month too. Whew- I need to get a life!

About 160 hours a month.
10-15hrs pw at home (hey! I'm paying for that!)
20 hrs pw at work (not 100%, it kinda sits in the background - part of my job is web-based research too)
35 hours pw (**** thats a day and half!)

About a 100 per month at home and another 50 or so per month at work.
I find I get more pleasure from surfing than sitting in front of the TV. TV is wife thing and this is mine.

Well, let's see. Roughly 30-40hrs a week at work and another 25-30 a week at home for a grand total of 220-380hrs a month. Hmm... I need to get out more.
Well when I sit on the can I spend a lot of time logging http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif But when I am on the puter I try not to log until I get back on the can http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

160-200 a month. The worst part is that only about 50 of those hours could be called "useful". Oh well the dogs are starved and my wife iritated, gosh could life be any better.

While I might not be setting in front of computer directly using it, I average around 300 hours per month of internet connectivity on my dial-up connection at home. Then add the time I spend at school and at friends' houses, man I NEED A LIFE!!!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
