Another "black Monday".
Cynthia Oti was a local radio personality here in the SF Bay Area. I often caught her show and always enjoyed the sound of her voice. She was the nicest, sweetest person I never had the pleasure of meeting. Classy, sincere, honest, friendly, helpful, intelligent, only just begin to describe her. The fact that she was an Eric Clapton fan (and openly had a crush on him) only added to her charm.
Her radio show was just a few months old, and her audience was growing rapidly. She was just starting to make her mark on the world. It's really sad that we had to lose her.
Alaska Airlines, flight 261, down in the Pacific, just off Los Angeles, Monday afternoon.
