Anyone tried cooling your CPU down with a block of dry ice, or dry ice vapor? Oh yeah, where can I get a GOOD CPU Benchmark... I allready got CPUMark99... I need one that just tell you how many MHz your CPU is running right now, not some index # like 50 when I run my AMD600

I did consider dry ice, and I even started making a little holder to put chipped blocks against my CPU, but it seems like too much of a hassle to have to go out and buy a block of dry ice every time I want to use my computer. "Hey, I have to type a 20 page paper, better go get three blocks" and so on. If you get a good peltier, then it should have the same effect.

About that MHz display thing - there's a little program called WCPUCLK, which you should be able to find on h-oda's website
http://www.h-oda.com/
this can be set to update very quickly and displays clock speed in MHz to 2 decimal places.

Dry ice is pretty **** cold, but melting it isn't an issue with the motherboard because it's frozen carbon dioxide, so it turns right into gas. Something I didn't consider before was condensation. I can't imagine that would be good.
