Yes i want to know about the alpha cpu coolers for the celeron socket 370. How noisy are they how many rpm they get? Also where the cheapest and most realible place you can find them online??

I have this one fan that make much air but its 6000 rpm noisy like hell are these aplha heatsink and fan like that noisy?

Also how much do these things really cool down? Because right now with a standard heatsink and fan i get up to 45 celsius and since i just got a geforce ddr when play games i notice it rise way up around 47 sometimes 50. I noticed couple times when play quake 3 all of a sudden i get and illegal operation screen turns bright white got to reboot is this because of heat??

I got a 366ppga oc to 550 works fine
Will the alpha really do a good joB?
Also does this thing fit the Abit Bf6 board without take any dimm slots?

Is this tenmax worth even getting? http://www.tennmax.com/cooler.htm

The alpha comes with either the sanyo denki fan or the Y.S. tech fan. The Y.S Tech is MUCH louder, and more powerful, and cheaper. The sanyo denki is quieter, less powerful and more expensive. Alpha themselves use the Sanyo, but resellers put Y.S. techs on them instead to save money.
The Y.S. Tech is the standard fan forthe FEP32, FDP32, CPM32, and any other globalwins that use 60mm fans.

If you are worried about noise, i would look for the Sanyo, since even one Y.S. tech fan is very notiably noisy to someone who is worried about noise.

And the sanyo is only 1-3 degrees less in performance then the much much louder ystech.

Hmm if you want the alpha with the ystech fan go to www.2cooltek.com (http://www.2cooltek.com) , he is a great and honest guy that has good shipping costs and good prices.

If you want to order the alpha direct(with the sanyo fan) from the manufacturer go to
http://www.micforg.co.jp/cindexe.html

they are good and cheap with the sanyo fan
(the same price about as the "other vendors"
that include the ystech"

only takes up one dimm slot.

Pain to get clipped on. The retention mechanizm is very hard to get on, and requires alot of force, but once you get it on, its very flush with the CPU, pressing right down on it. It is a very good cooler with a very silent fan.
