What do you guys do with so many computers? Is it a hobby or a job? I have 2 and one is a gaming system while the other is an internet system and printer server for the house.

Gateway - wifes and my(hah!) primary machine
Dell Optiplex - Daughters machine
Dell Latitude - what I use when I can't get on the gateway.
Building another so that I can use the optiplex as a Linux gateway so all the machines can access the Internet through one connection. Will also use this as a printserver.
The Gateway G6 goes to my daughter and my wife and I get the new machine.

i'm sad... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif i only have one computer and it pretty much sucks... it's got an AMD K6 (as in the first one) 266 MHz proces and only 48mb ram. so, you can tell that it isn't exactly great to use... well, i guess i have another puter if you count my dad's piece-of-**** compaq laptop (333 MHz and only 32mb ram... what a piece of ****)...

Dave, For me it's a bit of both. I have much of my "corporate" interface software on one machine that I use VPN technology to work at home (tele-commute) Then I have some of the other machine's (linux) to try and learn a new OS. and to keep the family on their own machine! lol
