Super Bowl Commercials

This years Super Bowl commercials were really disappointing, the corperate marketing geniuses didn't do too well this year. Any opinions, favorites?

Got a REAL big kick out of the FedEx one, with the truck falling into Oz and the Munchkins voices!

I liked that one too Ed_S. I thought the cat herdin one was...interesting. And I got the biggest kick out of the Etrade one with the dancing monkey. Other than that, there were too many serious commercials. It almost made you want to surf during breaks like I normally do otherwise.

I miss the days of the bud bowls and Ari Landry in the doritos commercials and the frogs and the lizards....

But at least the game was better from last year when the Broncos flattened the poor falcons.

I work for EDS and the opinion around here is that the general populace is rather baffled by the Cat Herding analogy and that it will do little for the company.

My fav was e-Trade: It's the emergency room setting where they're wheeling a guy in, back-side-up, on a gurney. Lifting up the covers and inspecting the area of his derierre, they say: <Nurse> "Doctor, he's got money comming out of the wazoo!" <Doctor> "Money out the wazoo?? Get a private room..." Hehehe!

Did everone miss the Mountain Dew commerical thought that 1 was good but the CAT HERDING was the BEST in my opinion. Other than that it was a great game.

LOVED the "herding cats" commercial... everybody at our SuperBowl party was laughing like mad... for years, every time we've gotten ready to leave the house my husband has complained "it's like herding cats" as I searched for my keys, my bag, my sunglasses, my scarf, and then the keys again. Even among people who'd never heard the expression before, all those who ever owned a cat were delighted.
