I'm about to get a new Abit BF6 so that I can O/C my Cel300A (Retail/Nov.98). I'm somewhat new to the O/C thing and would like to know if there are any hard and fast 'DO's and DONT'S' I should be aware of before I attempt it. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Interesting, that the combo I have. Here are the don'ts, don't o/c with just stock fans, get better ones, like the Globalwin. Here are the dos, change your mobo setting, the FSB should be 66 and the multiplyers at 4.5, then you'll get 300a when you boot up without error messages. After your first successful boot try 4.5*100FSB, and should work but if it doesn't bring you FSB mhz down 1 by 1 to get it working. Good luck in o/cing.

Thanks! I'll try that procedure as soon as I get it installed.
