Can the case be removed of a PII???

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any experience getting the case of a PII??
I wanna get mine of to do some experimentel cooling, but I don't wanna break the cpu.

Any help would be very appreciated.

I took my case off of a P2-450. Which kind of heatsink version do you have? Does the case have the plastic clips holding the black plastic front on or is it a snap on?

Hi,

I got the PII 400Mhz with the same sort of case that the athlon's have.

I think it is a clip-on, because there are no switches or what so ever.
The heatsink is the same as I use on my athlon, a "justcooler" with 2 fans on it.
