I have heard rumors that if you set the voltage to 2.3, shutdown and clear the cmos when you reboot the voltage will be at 2.4 I have yet to try it yet.

You should be getting stable 600 with the 450 at default voltage, or even 2.1v 2.8 is too high.

In the case of the P3 500, you could have the kb0 stepping (first gen P3) of the 500 which usually will not do above 560Mhz.

Just to confirm, running the p3 450 at 2.8v? Is anybody else wondering this?
