I have Abit BE-6 V.2 M/B. I am using a Celeron with a slocket. Will the new Alpha Pal heatsink and fan fit. I know the Global Win FEP does not fit. Thanks, Felix

I just installed by celery in a Slocket-II into my BE6-II and I LOST One Dimm Slot. I would have lost TWO if I installed it the way alpha wanted. I did not use the fan shroud or spacers. I installed the heat sink and then hot glued the fan to the heat sink. This allowed me to use two dimms. I don't know how much cooling I lost not using the shroud, but I just could not give up two slots. Zetor I'm Sorry, I am also using the Alpha Pal-6035 [This message has been edited by zetor (edited 01-25-2000).] lasa168 01-25-2000, 10:02 PM Yeah, I thought that I would lose 2 slots. I am using a 64Meg and 32 Meg Ram right now. I guess it is time to up grade to one PC-133 128 Meg ram stick. Thanks, FElix Z28 TAZ 01-26-2000, 04:05 PM I would suggest looking into a pcpowercooling.com I am 105% satisfied with what I got for my SS7... SysOpt.com
