Have you tried WinRar or WinAce.Both are way better than winzip.

i did a format the other day and needed a new copy of cuteftp. while on their site, www.globalscape.com (http://www.globalscape.com) ,i noticed they are working on a new zip utility. it is still in beta stage right now. i am trying it right now and havent had any problems with it. i would suggest you try it if you do a ton of zipping and unzipping. its not as easy as the winzip wizard but has more features for power users. just thought i would share the info.
